Acknowledgment of Risk and Release of Liability
IMPORTANT: By signing this agreement, you may be giving up important legal rights, including the right to sue. Please read it carefully before signing.
I understand that participating in dog training involves risks of injury to people or animals, damage to property, and other losses. Dogs may behave unpredictably, even when appropriate precautions are taken.
I acknowledge that training may take place in homes, public spaces, or virtually, and may involve encounters with other people, animals, traffic, or environmental hazards. Training may also involve the instructor directly handling my dog.
I voluntarily accept the risks associated with participating in training, including risks to myself, my dog, and my property.
In consideration of being permitted to participate in training, I release and discharge Paul Crane, doing business as Pixie Dust Dog Training, and its owners, instructors, employees, and representatives from claims for injury, loss, or damage arising from my participation, including claims arising from their negligence, to the extent permitted by law.
I understand that I remain responsible for appropriately supervising and managing my dog while the dog is in my care or under my control, and for injury or damage caused by my dog arising from my own actions or failure to exercise reasonable care.
I confirm that I am at least 19 years old, have read and understood this agreement, and voluntarily accept its terms.
